Gumbat

This railway station was build by the British government in 1899 while north west frontier province was connected with country by railway line four passenger trains and two rail cars use to travel daily from rawalpindi to Kohat and this railway station was considered the busiest railway station of the area till late sixties but due to corruption in government and huge losses in railway department this railway station was closed and with the passage of time and negligence of the railway department this is the present situation of this famous station (salute to sheikh Rasheed railway minister)
